I thought the scariest movie of the year was the one about the girl spelunkers -- the Descent, or something. It may have been a 2006 film though. But by-golly I watched it this year. Does that count?

I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW SOMEONE CAN NOT LIKE IT. Victor Crowley is the best villian since Kruger. As well as the movie has the classic horror story, kinda reminds me of Friday the 13th. Personally the subject just isn't my cup of tea though. I did't do the Saw franchised films either, nor the Hostel films. Far to negative a subject matter. BUT I do admire your enthusiasm, though. What the genre needs is a bit for Rah Rah. Having said that, when you say ..."I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW SOMEONE CAN NOT LIKE IT...." , as Vlad said : everyone has a different take on things. What other folks may see or not see as entertainment with value is what makes this particular genre along with science fiction so much damn fun. Tk

I know the premises about an ex Mexican Wrestler killing Porn stars in a Ghost Town was a little absurd. On the other hand the gore was at level 9.5 and the ever important COOL FACTOR has to be a 10. The guy rips off peoples faces like Mexican Wrestlers rip off each others Masks. HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!!!!!
