as you play around with the new system [as it gets here] please, PLEASE feel free to post how you did something or where you found something if it wasn't obvious... i figure if one struggles, there's more that are just lost and closing the window. let's help each other out...

IF you have a split screen and the top part if all your information, look for a 'navigation' button right at the split. click that will 'minimize' your info. clicking again at any time with 'open' your info... so rather than going into your profile or things like that, it looks like it's always right there for you.

apparently, if you're a local user, you may end up with a very strange name that is your nick, plus cesspool, plus whereever else you might be, plus some other nonsense [yourname.cesspool.local.horror-web]... i believe you can change/fix this. i saw this discussed elsewhere and can't find it--if someone finds it, please let us know!

the change over is reported to erase all private messages... i urge you to go to yours now and save anything you may want later to your email or a file somewhere!

convert my EzBoard login to Yuku login is apparently a necessity for some but not all... i don't know why. some are having problems and it won't let them log in with their old name/password but when they try to make new ones they get told that it's in use. somewhere there is a 'convert my EzBoard login to Yuku login' that is very important...
and when i find that stinking link, i'll post... if someone else beats me to it--put it here! |
