Ended up watching this one at the beginning of the week. Very well done, just spooky enough and creepy. I'm a sucker for ghost stories though and add in some creepy kids and it's a wonderful mixture. I definitely recommend checking this one out! Gets a thumbs up from me!

It is on my list of movies to get and watch. Was going to get it and take it to a friends house and then realized it was subtitled. She hates subtitles. So it
has been delayed. Will get it and watch it with my kids. They have no issues with subtitles. Especially my daughter. Dark Water was one of her favorite movies.

Yeh, my wife hates subtitles too. Me, I love them. I always used to have the closed captions turned on when watching our old tv. That, and that old speed
reading class came in handy.

watched it last night...
a. hubby and boy child HATE subtitles, but it's GdT so i don't care and rented it b. they LOVED it, hell, i LOVED it... but i'm a fan of his stuff so i expected to =) the boy child hasn't watch Pan's Lab yet, but this just might get him to do so. and between this and Pan, i think i may have convinced hubby that he needs to watch Devil's Backbone.... oh, and whoever said it was in their pile... get it out of the pile and into the player--now!! |

I don't even think of subtitles anymore, as I'm watching at least one movie per week I have to read. Hope that makes me smarter in the long run LOL To K, I'd think Pan's Lab might be a bit too intense for the boy child? I dunno, I guess you've seen it and you would know :) To everyone else, if you've seen Devil's Backbone then you will enjoy this movie as well.
