so? what television shows that YOU watch were disrupted by this? i'm hoping they get their groove on in time to give us a few more House, Bones & Lost before they close down for the season... |

At one point in time that would have meant something to me. After having backed away from subscription tv and went to the roof antenna it just doesn't seem
to matter anymore. Anything I want to watch I'll rent it as it comes out. There's only one program that gets my motor running and that's Jericho.
So ya, in a way I'm happy they settled this thing, just not thanking the Gods. Good news for the writers' though. They deserved a piece of the extra pie. It was and is their work after all ain't it. Tk |

i'm hoping they get their groove on in time to give us a few more House, Bones & Lost before they close down for the season... From what I've heard, they'll have enough time to get about 5 more episodes done (depending on the show). With any luck, that also means Bones will be back BEFORE April 28th, which is the currently scheduled return date. None of my other shows were affected (Psych finished filming before the strike started and Torchwood is British so ha) but they got damn close. I think they only had two or three episodes of Supernatural left and maybe four Smallville left.
I'm the Doctor! I can save the universe using a kettle and some string. And look at me, I'm wearing a vegetable.

I want more House too. Ghost Whisperer and Supernatural have had too many re-runs and I want more new episodes. lol

I am so glad that the writer's strike is over. The show I most look forward to seeing is Damages. Many people are sleeping on it, but hopefully as we all
get reacquainted with regular tv, more people will catch it. Ted Danson is excellently evil and Glenn Close is as good as ever. Damages is definitely a show
that should bounce back big now that the strike is done.

The only show that affected me was Saturday Night Live...
As for the rest of stuff on TV; I was kinda happy that there was nothing good being written. Less temptation to waste my time in front of the tube... It's hard enough avoiding the bad shows, much less the good ones. |

well hell, 9, you're not supposed to just turn it on and veg! [unless you're stuck on the couch, say recovering from surgery or ill with the current
death-flu... then it's ok] you pick your few shows you like and watch them and move on to other things... right, everyone?
cuz seriously... are there people that actually watch everything they put on that thing? |

oh hell yeah! i was calling it cap'n tripps when i had it, but oddly, the second i started calling it that, i started getting better!! hehehe 3-4 weeks of
hell with this lovely teaser of 'feel better one day, SLAM into hell again the next'... it was hideous!!
