Cujo. But they didn't!! =))))))))))))) Big kudos to Nutman, who [i didn't know until the credits rolled] was responsible for translating that baby
to screen.
I loved the book and really enjoyed the movie. Minor changes, to speed up the end and skip the denouement [normal for hollywood] but otherwise true enough to make your skin crawl all over again.
Hubby's never read the book [he's only read one Ketchum short story and that was forced into his hands while i stood watch until he read it] and he really enjoyed it. There was even discussion afterwards... of course, it included little tidbits like "yeah, i get why you read him" =)) and "and you introduced our DAUGHTER to this guy!?" hehehehehe... yes, oddly, she's not allowed to read him but was allowed to speak to him.
if you haven't seen this, definitely find it and watch it. without, repeat without, the kids. trust me on that one...
