I would say I can't go because it is too far away...but that doesn't work since I seem to be unable to even make it to ones in my own damn city!

I debated going to the Convention myself. I was talkin' to Brian Keene at one of his book signings a few years back and he swore up and down it was the best time I'd ever have. He was correct!
Now I have a huge extended family, and they keep forcing me to have fun, drink, and yell really, really loud. Come along. The Master doesn't like to be kept waiting.

I made a promise to a short person... then i hemmed and i hawed and i talked to other people... then i looked at plane tickets... and then i had a problem with getting friday off work... and then i woke up and said F**K IT!

The shuttle is probably your best bet on Saturday. I'd help out but I don't plan on getting a car rental while I am there....flying in on Weds, family will pick me up...take me to hotel on Thursday then Monday morning I'll take a cab to the airport.
Glad you can make it...if you weren't gonna be there...well, it just wouldn't be the same in the least bit! You do have your room set, right? I still have an extra one reserved in case. ---

room was reserved way back in feb or march i think... we're set =) i sent off a list of the readings and a print out of the guests to the girlchild at summer camp yesterday. she'll circle her wish list and send it back. and then the games [er, scheduling] begins. because this year is about HER going to her first con, i won't necessarily be doing the hw/wench thing... or maybe... yes! we should cover it, and this year we've got a newbie staff [zombie] and a con newbie [manda] to cover from their pov... ohhhh could be fun! |
