Anyone read this book? Forget the authors name...I was just wondering if it was worth the (around) twenty dollar price tag, kinda sounded cool.

It's by David Wellington, author of the MONSTER ISLAND trilogy. This is a sequel to 13 BULLETS, although you don't necessarily need to have read that one to follow this one (he recaps it fairly well so far). I'm only a couple of chapters in, but I've enjoyed everything I've read by Wellington so far, so I'd say go for it. His vampires are definitely NOT angsty, velvet coat-wearing crybabies.

Wicked, maybe I'll pick it up next time I go to the city and visit the fancy-readin'-book store. I used to like the Fat White Vampire books too, now
