Mary and I sat through a VERY boring Superman Returns. Damn sad really. Imagine having to copy Christopher Reeve's version of Kent. Pathetic.
Tried watching a a new UK take on Stoker's Dracula last night, another sad attempt. What is it with writers and producers and their constant need to butcher and rearrange classic material. The TV series Supernatural has been another disappointment this season, especially coming in after a wonderful first season. I am looking forward to the new season of Jericho this month. The new Dr. Who has been a hoot and the new season of Corner Gas has been pretty hit or mis, until tonights episode, actually laughed form beginning to end. |

I'm gonna have to agree with Flunky on this one -- despite telling myself to never agree with Flunky on anything.
I like the Supes movies. Kevin Spacey as Lex was awesome. Maybe I'm just a religious extremist when it comes to superman -- I mean, he is my own personal savior -- but your words against the Man of Steel is heresy, and if one had said this about Superman II, in olden times one would be burned at the stake. |

I watched Servants Of Twilight today..Based on a Koontz book. Not bad.

I liked the Supes movie, in spite of the fact that I dinnae much care for Lex Luthor as the villain. He was far to "been there, done that". I wish they would've went with Bizarro, Brainiac, or Doomsday instead.
Haven't watched much in a while, but we have The Departed on deck for tomorrow night. Not horror, but I'll bet there's some splash'n'crash in it. "Normal is relative and your nightmares are real."

I don't usually like comedy, movies. I like comedy a in stand up but not movies but I watched Little Man and it was funny!

The reruns have finally given way to new episodes on television, so we're not watching a lot of movies right now. Last movie we rented was Saw III...

On the non-horror front (well real life horror if you see it that way) we watched CATCH A FIRE last night.

The Departed was okay...not the epic everyone was raving about, but it was okay. I want to see "This Film Is Not Yet Rated" but no one seems to have it here.

I see return to Jericho is on tonight recapping last season so it looks like the new eppys will start soon. Mary and I just finished watching Bruce Campbell in Alien Apocalypse.
