The comics are just full of this guys and gals. Mostly villains but those that fight on the side of justice can be just as mad. Many say Batman is off his rocker and that the Punisher isn't too far behind. There are those heroes I can say for sure are nuts.
The Batman family of books spawned Anarchy. A slightly bent anti-hero if ever I saw one. Subtle yet deranged.
The Creeper from DC's line of books. Mad as a Hatter that one.
